Jodocus Hondius World Map (1595)
The Dutch cartographer was the first to use copper plates of the globe had met with Drake while he was in England. 
Hondius returned to the Netherlands in 1593 after he had copied the Whitehall Map reported to be the large scale map Drake presented to the Queen on his return in 1580.


Nova Albions Broadside on the upper left depicts Drake's 1579 Pacific coast land site.

Due to subsequent fires which destroyed the Palace of Whitehall in 1697-98 the map is presumed lost.
